1/2 Cup butter

1 quart strawberries, cut into halves

1/4 Cup sugar

2 Tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur

1 teaspoon grated lime peal

2 Tablespoons brandy

Vanilla Ice Cream 

Directions: 

Heat butter in 10 inch skillet over medium heat until melted. Add strawberries; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in sugar, liqueur and lime peel, then cook and stir 1 minute. 

Heat brandy in long handled saucepan until warm. Ignite and pour over strawberries. 

Serve hot over ice cream. 

NOTE ALCOHOL EVAPORATES IN HEAT…
