ELLISON CHEESE DIP

2 Tbsp Spice Mix (Legg’s Pork Sausage Seasoning)

1 lb Mild Sausage

2 lbs ground deer meat (ground venison)

2 Tbsp Onion minced very small

1 or 2 garlic cloves minced very small

Sour Cream

1 (8oz) cream cheese

4 Tbsp chunky Salsa (mild)

4 jars 15.5 Tostitos Salsa Con Queso (best to buy in pack at Sam’s and Aldie’s)

Directions

Mix seasoning with Sausage and deer well.

Brown onion and garlic with a tad bit of veg. oil adding in the seasoned meat. brown meat and keep chunks small as you cook it.


(You can do this all in one pot but I did my cheese in a bigger pot so it could. be warming while I was still growing my meat ) Add Con Queso and Block of Cream Cheese to pot and let it warm up and stir to get cream cheese incorporated as it warms.

Add in your cooked meat and Salsa, lastly your Sour Cream

Serve Warm with Tostito corn chips (it also does great reheated in microwave if you want to make it early)

Enjoy! you literally can’t stop eating it.
