SUBMITTED BY VALERIE SUZANNE MAKO this recipe is pretty easy. its not really fancy but it tastes good =)

potatoes

butter

sour cream

milk

salt

pepper

delux american cheese

i always start with regular baking potatoes and put them in the microwave for 6 mins each (poked holes in them so they dont expload). wrap the microwaved potatoes in aluminum foil and bake for about 30 mins at 350 (depending one the size of the potato). when then are done. take them out and let them cool til you are able to handle them. cut them in half and hollow them out putting the middles into a bowl. Be sure not to rip the skins, you are going to use them again. use your butter sour cream and milk to mash the potatoes to a flavor and consistency of your choice. add salt and pepper to taste. then using about 1 1/2 pieces of your delux american cheese per potato, tear it up and mix it in to your mashed potatoes. when the mashed potatoes are thoroughly mixed, scoop them back into the skins and put them back into the 350 ovenfor 15 mins or until cheese is gooey and tops are very slightly brown.

=] enjoy!

its a favorite of mine
