5 Medium Cucumbers sliced thin

3 Medium onions sliced

1/4 cup salt 

Combine all ingredients and let stand 2 hours. Drain. Heat: 1 Cup Vinegar 1/2 Tsp Celery seed 1 Cup Water 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp tumeric Bring to a boil. Add drained cucumbers and onions and boil slowly untill tender. Pack in sterilized jars and seal.
