EASTER BASKET IDEAS THAT INCORPORATE THE TRUE MEANING OF EASTER – JESUS!!!

ok so I made a zillion it feels like of these little baskets for my Sunday School Class..  I decided to go with a girl and a boy theme since I found some really great Easter Baskets for boys all ready with the paper and grass and all on clearance at Gabriel Brothers for 1.75 a basket.. I bought all they had which was JUST enough for the boys  in my class and a extra two for guests..

I took out the toys and things and put them in my Treasure Box in my Sunday School class.. I wanted the INSIDE of their basket to be exactly like the inside of the girls I was making…

I wanted them to get a Easter Basket and enjoy some candy and at the same time have JESUS shine through as the SOLE purpose for Easter and not highlight bunnies and eggs and such … JESUS CHRIST deserves to be center of attention

A few things you can add to the basket, you can get all of this at your local Dollar Tree Store if you have one..

• I went with a White Bible for girls. Black Bible for boys  (one dollar- KJV from Dollar Tree.. awesome Deal)
• homemade Jesus Christ Obituary Bookmarkers laminated ( you can find how to do them on this site)
• Pamphlets that told the WHOLE story of Jesus Christ Death Burial and Resurrection (15 cents a piece Christian B Store)
• Praying Hands or Chocolate Cross ( dollar tree 1 dollar)
• pack of crayons ( dollar tree , three to a pack 1 dollar)
• assortment of candy ( dollar tree by bags that sell large quantity and split them between all easter baskets for cheaper)
• I picked up the clear Jelly bean paper for the girls baskets at Dollar tree as well… two to a pack for 1 buck..

KEEP JESUS IN EASTER!!!!!!
