Dutch baby (Puff Daddy)
1. Preheat the oven to 450
2. Put 2 tablespoons of butter in an oven safe pan.
3. In a medium bowl beat 2 eggs and add a half a cup of flour and mix until you get a paste.
Add a half a cup of milk and mix (don’t mix too much, you don’t want a lot of air in the mixture)
Set mixture aside.
4. Put the pan in the oven and melt the butter until it is sizzling and evenly distributed in the bottom of the pan.
5. Take out the pan and pour in the mixture and place it back into the oven.
After about 8 to 10 minutes it’s done!
Serve right out of the oven…we like to put more butter lemon curd and a squeeze of fresh lemon and a dusting of powdered sugar or even a nice jam would be good if you don’t like lemon curd..
