Here’s a sugar cookie recipe that you will love! 

Drumm Sugar Cookies

4 cups sugar
1 cup butter
6 eggs
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 teaspoons fresh ground/grated nutmeg
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons pure vanilla
2 cups milk
10 cups flour

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, spices, vanilla, and milk. Mix. Add flour slowly. Refrigerate dough at least one hour. Roll on a floured board about 1/4-inch thick and cut with a 3-inch cookie cutter (I use round). Sprinkle with raw sugar, if you like. Bake on greased cookie sheet (or use parchment paper) at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool. They get their distinct flavor after about an hour (it is not there when the cookies are hot)
