my chocolate covered strawberries (not so pretty ran out of parafin wax to make the chocolate glossy and pretty LOL but STILL tasted good LOL)

CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES

This recipe calls for milk chocolate, but you can also use dark chocolate or white chocolate chips. I like to make a variety of each.

Ingredients:

16 ounces milk chocolate chips

2 tablespoons butter

1 pound fresh strawberries with leaves OR without

small chunck of parafin wax to make glossy and help set up but not needed..

Directions:

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring occasionally until smooth.  (if using paraffin wax, throw it in to melt with the chocolate.. use a small chunk)

Holding the strawberries by the leaves, dip them into the chocolate mixture.

Place dipped strawberries onto wax paper for chocolate to dry/harden. Keep finished strawberries in refrigerator until ready to serve.
