1 pkg Devils Food Cake Mix
1/4 cup water
1 egg
3 Tbsp oil
38 Rolo Candies
Chopped Hazelnuts (or pecans)
Chop up hazelnuts or pecans small
Combine cake mix water egg and oil.
In a large bowl roll rounded tsp of dough into balls..
press a candy rolo into each. Reshape the balls
Dip tops in hazlenuts (or pecans) and place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets
. Bake 9 minutes at 350 till top cracks
let set a minute before removing from pans to wire racks.
Store in an airtight container. if they make it that long.. hahaha
My husband recommends you eat them WARM.. lol
they make 3 dozen small cookies if made the way I made them…..if you make your balls larger you wont get as many cookies
