1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

2 TB.s vegetable oil

1 square (1oz) unsweetened chocolate, melter and cooled

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/8 tsp. salt

powder sugar 

In mixing bowl, beat sugar, egg, oil, chocolate, and vanilla.

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture.

Chill dough for at least two hours.

Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in powdered sugar.

Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 for 10 – 12 minutes or until set.

Yeilds 1 dozen 

note: dough will be sticky, dip hands in pwdered sugar when shaping dough into balls
