Chocolate Bread Pudding

 

3/4 cup Half & Half

1/2 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup chocolate semisweet chips

1/2 cup sugar

1 Tbsp Tbsp Kahlua

3/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg

4 cups of day old French bread, cubed w/ crusts removed

 

Combine Half and Half and whipping cream in sauce pan and heat through; add chocolate chips, sugar, Kahlua and vanilla; then mix in egg and add bread; stir. Pour into buttered 8 x 8 glass baking dish and let stand for 15 minutes. Then bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
