Here is one of my “go to” recipes. I got it from Quick Cooking Magazine, but tweeked it some.

CHEESEBURGER N FRIES CASSEROLE
2 lb extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 can golden cream of mushroom OR regular cream of mushroom soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 pkg (20 ounces) frozen french fries or tater tots
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (is also good with co-jack)
I also add salt, pepper, some garlic powder and onion powder. This is to your own taste
Cook beef until done, drain.
Add mushroom soup, cheese soup, any seasonings and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Mix well
Pour into a greased 9×13 casserole dish. Top with potatoes.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until fries are golden and meat mixture is bubbly. Top with remaining cheese. Return to oven just until cheese is melted.
