BUTTERFLY KISSES
Sunday School Mother’s Day Project
you will definitely need a hot glue gun – I recommend only an adult work with the hot glue gun
butterfly drawing with wide middle
egg carton cut into three’s
green or black pipe cleaners
markers or crayons
hershey kisses
metal tins
okay so I got this butterfly paper from one of my sub aide jobs at the schools.. I thought it was so cute the kids just color a butterfly and cut it out and I bring in some egg cartons and cut them out three at a time and stick a pipe cleaner in the top for antennas ..then hot glue the egg crate to the butterfly… you don’t need a paper like I got you can just draw your own and make copies on the copier.
Next I brought in these cheap tins and filled them with hershey kisses and we hot glued our butterfly to the top of the tin .. it was a great way to present our butterflies to the mothers.. so we called it “butterfly kisses” =) hope you enjoy doing this with your class it was a hit in mine.
