BUTTER HOT YEAST ROLLS

3/4 cup milk

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp salt (omit if using self rising flour)

1/2 stick margarine

1/2 cup warm water

2 packs dry yeast

1 egg

3 1/2 cups flour

scald milk , stir in sugar salt and margarine.

let cool to lukewarm, put warm water in bowl, sprinkle in yeast stir until dissolved

add in milk mixture and 1 egg, 2 cups flour, beat until smooth. Stir in rest of flour (unsifted flour) cover let rise until doubles in bulk .Punch down and shape into rolls

cover let rise again

bake at 400 degrees 15 min or till done.
