RECIPE TAKEN FROM JOYCE H ITT

 

Bubble Gum Jelly

2 cups unsweetened apple juice or white grape juice

3 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 pouch ( 3 oz ) liquid pectin

1/2 teaspoon flavoring oil concentrate

4 drops red and 2 drops yellow food coloring

In a large saucepan, combine  apple juice and sugar. Over high heat, stirring constantly, bring to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down. Stir in pectin. Boil hard, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Stir in flavoring oil concentrate and food coloring. Remove from heat and quickly skim off foam.Quickly pour hot jelly into jars and seal. Place into canner, ensuring they are completely covered with water. Bring to a boil and process for10 minutes
