1 lb. (2 cups) brown sugar
1 Tbsp flour

8 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp.butter
4 eggs slightly beaten

pinch salt

1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Mix well.  Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees, reduce heat and bake 30 minutes at 325 or till set. Cool before cutting. This pie keeps well.
