BLACKENED SCALLOPS, BLACK RICE, AND MIXED VEGGIES
Scallops are the most important part of this dish.
They must be fresh!
After olive oil and fresh garlic and shrimp has been grilled in pan, I added heavy whipping cream, after six min.
at med heat I added the scallops with a pinch of salt and pepper.
I let them stand in mixture for ten minutes, then I remove the scallops, and drain the sauce from shrimp and grarlic… that is used for sauce later…….
The scallops are them put back into hot pan with evo and browned on both sides this should only take two min. Black rice is grainy in texture and can be cooked in rice cooker.
Veggies are sauteed in hot pan, rice veggies scallop drizzle sauce!
