Black Forest Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix…follow directions on box and bake, cool….

10 0z. heavy whipping cream, whipped using approx. 1/4th cup of white sugar with 1 tsp. vanilla, whip until stiff peaks form..

.1 can cherry pie filling and mini milk choco. morsels to garnish with.

after cake has cooled on first layer add approx. 1/2 of pie filling,

add 2nd cake layer and add whipped topping and the rest of pie filling,

then garnish with choco morsels. I rarely use a recipe.

I hope this proves out ok!

I will say this, it’s best to make the whipped topping yourself, the store bought topping only last a while on the cake
