Banana Cake

3 large bananas very ripe mashed
2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
½ c. buttermilk
2 large eggs
½ c. shortening
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

Icing:
1 ½ c. powder sugar
1/8 tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla flavoring
½ tsp almond flavoring
Enough cream to moisten

Cake batter blend all ingredients oil, sugar and eggs then sift flour with salt ,baking soda, baking powder. Alternate flour and milk ending with flour. Fold in bananas and flavoring mix well. Pour into 1 lg. rectangular pan bake 350 deg. For 25-35 minutes.

Icing mix up and pour over hot cake set aside let cool
