ANTIQUE BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES RECIPE
3 Quts. Cucumber
2 cups sugar
1 qt vinegar
1 tbsp celery seed
1/4 tbsp tumeric
1/2 tbsp black pepper
1/4 tbsp alum
1 tbsp mustard seed (whole)
1 or two sliced onions
Slice cucumbers soak in salt over night, drain in morning mix all together and let come to boil Seal.
