3 sticks butter
1 1b brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 c plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 c evaporated milk
1 tsp baking powder
Pecans (optional)
1 cup raisins
coconut (optional)
Cream butter and sugar add eggs one at a time. sift dry ingredients.. add flavoring then dry ingredients while adding milk. fold in nuts and raisins ect last.. put in hot oven 325 for 1 hour and 15 min or till done . Let cake set before removing from pan..
make glaze with half and half and confectionary sugar..
