ALABAMA BISCUITS

2 1/2 cups self rising flour

1 pkg dry yeast

2 tbsp melted crisco

1/2 c warm water

1/2 c buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in warm water

add to milk and melted crisco

mix flour in with liquid mixture

mix till dough no longer sticks

to bowl

roll to 1/4 inch thick

cut biscuits with biscuit cutter

Dip in melted butter Stack 2 biscuits high

let rise 1 hour

bake at 450 degrees12 minutes.
