So my husband and I like our tenderloin and deer steaks a lot the way I usually make them but every once and a while we want to try someone else’s recipe for a change. Well this recipe we got from my brother in law, who got it from a friend at his work…. So I tried it out today. It is very good.. maybe the only difference is next time I will cut back on the salt a little as the worcestershire sauce has a salty taste already and I LOVE garlic so I may add a tad of garlic powder to it like I do normally.

No. A1 Fried Deer Tenderloin

You will need to purchase the No. A1 SEASONED Flour, I found it at Krogers

you will need worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup

and you will need milk, about 1 1/2 cups or less (according to how much tenderloin your frying up) I fried up 2 lbs.

Now

take your tenderloin or steaks, and tenderize.

put in large bowl and add milk and worcestershire sauce

put in fridge to marinate at least 2 hours, or even overnight.

Take out when ready and get your flour in a pie plate

dredge the meat in the flour and shake off excess

put a little oil in the pan and get it hot

drop in your seasoned venison do not over crowd or it will not crisp well

pepper well, lightly salt

venison cooks up way faster than beef and SHOULD have some pink to it.. if you over cook it you will have dry tough meat.. venison has very little fat.

put on a slotted pan or paper towel to drain.

let it sit a bit then serve

enjoy with sides like roasted potatoes or seasoned browned rice and broccoli
