RECIPE IDEA AND PHOTOS SUBMITTED BY Johnnie Mae Smith
Quick version of peach cobbler made with pancake mix, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon for the topping and the normal mixture for the peaches. It was really good and quick
  • Mary Beth Deary Looks so good, please tell us how you fix
  • Johnnie Mae Smith Mary I dont have exact amounts on this. For the peaches, I added 1 big can of peaches, 1 stick of butter, about 1/2 cup milk, a cup half of sugar on top of stove. The spices were cinamon, allspice, van flavoring. I cooked on top of stove slowly until it starts to getting thick, then I take off of stove. The mixture for the topping is above. I covered the bottom of pan with the pancake mix and poured peaches in. I then covered the top with the pancake mixture and cut about 1/2 stick of butter on top. I sprinkled cinnamon sparingly on top. I baked for about 30 minutes or until it is bubbling and brow. I must say it was good and quick, but I would rather put my homemade crust on top and bottom.
