1 pkg yellow cake mix

1/2 c butter

1 can fruit cocktail

1/2 c sugar

2-1/3 c coconut

1/2 c brown sugar

2 eggs

1/2 c evaporated milk 

Combine cake mix , fruit cocktail (with syrup), 1 c coconut, and 2 eggs in a large bowl. Blend, then beat at med speed for 2 min pour into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 325 fir 45 min. Bring butter, granulated sugar and milk to a boil in small saucepan: boil for 2 min. Remove from heat stir in remaining coconut. Spoon over hot cake in pan. Can serve warm or cool.
