EASY SIX MINUTE CORN ON THE COB

This is so easy.. my hubby made this for me today while I was busy frying green tomatoes, and yellow squash to go with my bean dinner and fried potatoes..

All he did was take four large ears of corn and shuck them

2 gallon ziplock bags

place 2 ears of corn  in plastic bag

add 1 cup of water to the bag

Zip up leaving one end open slightly for steam to escape

put into microwave for 6 minutes

repeat with other bag

I keep my corn in unopened zip lock bag  sitting in a pot until the rest of my dinner is done.. (do the corn towards the end of your cooking)

when ready take out corn can cut in half if desire or leave whole, add salt and butter and a little parsley flakes if desired.. easy and yummy.

I then served it up with our bean dinner.. yum
