1 lb. boneless beef sirloin

1 tbsp. cornstarch

1 tbsp. light soy sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 tsp. salt

2 tbsp. oil

2 c. broccoli flowerets

1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms

1/3 c. chicken broth

Slice sirloin into thin strips. Combine with cornstarch and soy sauce in bowl; mix well. Stir-fry garlic with salt in oil in skillet or wok. Add beef. Stir- fry for several minutes. Remove beef; set aside. Add broccoli, undrained mushrooms and broth. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cook, covered, for 2 minutes. Add beef. Heat to serving temperature. Serve with hot cooked rice.
