Italian Style Green Beans (Green Beans With Almonds)

2 Tbsp oil

1 small or half onion chopped

1 – 2 cloves garlic minced

1 Pound Fresh Green Beans Cooked, or Canned Green Beans, drained

Salt and Pepper to taste

2 tbsp slivered or sliced almonds

’2 Tbsp or more grated parmesan cheese

Heat oil in skillet: add onion and garlic and saute till golden brown, stirring constant to keep garlic from burning

Add green beans and cook slowly till hot.

Season with salt and pepper

Stir in almonds and some parmesan cheese

Note.. Mushrooms may be included if desire, just add to pan with with the beans.

Enjoy with Pasta
