Taken from “Magic Chef Cooking 1924” 3 c prunes

1/2 c sugar

2 tbsp. lemon juice

1 tsp cinnamon Remove the pits from the previously cooked prunes and cut in quarters. Mix the sugar, prunes, lemon juice and cinnamon together. Pour into a 9 1/2-inch pie dish lines with pastry. Cut some pastry into strips and put them over the top in criss cross fashion. Bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
