1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak or beef top round steak, 3/4″ thick

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

1 3/4 cups beef broth

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

1 Tablespoons packed brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

4 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florettes

Directions:

Slice beef into very thin strips. Mix cornstarch, broth, soy, brown sugar and garlic powder until smooth. Set aside.

Stir-fry beef in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned and juices evaporate.

Add broccoli and cook 1 min. Stir cornstarch mixture and add. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

Serve over rice.

TIP: To make slicing easier, freeze beef 1 hr.
