SERENA’S CHICKEN STEW

NOTE: (I had to work today so I started my stew out in the crock pot and finished it when I got home) do NOT add your noodles to the crock pot ..if making the stew in a stock pot just add the noodles last and put lid on till noodles are tender.. if making in crock pot like I did you will run out of room in crock pot for the corn, potatoes, green beans and peas, so you might as well wait till you get home and transfer the stew to a stock pot like I did and then finish your soup..

Ingredients..

2 split chicken breasts with skin and bone (you need that for extra flavoring in broth, can pick out bones and skin later)

1 lb package of boneless chicken

1 chicken bullion cube

Water (don’t measure..maybe 2 -3 cups)

1 whole onion chopped

Tbsp minced fresh garlic.. (about 4 cloves)

Chopped celery.. about 4 stalks WITH LEAVES

A LOT of salt and pepper

1 quart of canned tomatoes add when your chicken starts to get done.. (can take chicken out of pot and cut into large cubes at this point if desire)

1 family size 26 oz can of Tomato Soup

Small cut or cubed carrots

1 can peas

1 can corn

1 can green beans

1 can whole potatoes

taste broth and add about 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes for depth

Ditalini Noodles (about a cup) (if you are just coming in from work and in a hurry.. it is faster to just boil the noodles and drain then add to the stew.. but if not you can do it in the stock pot or crock pot last.. till tender)
