Rice Krispie Cake:
YOU CAN FIND THIS RECIPE AND MORE ON ROSETTA’S BLOG ROSETTA’S SWEET TREATS http://rosettassweettreats.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/rice-krispie-cake/

16 cups Rice Krispie Cereal

12 cups mini marshmallows

10 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Assorted colorful candy to mix in and extra for decorating.

Decorate cake with colorful cereal by pressing all around the top and bottom.

Directions:

Melt 10 tablespoons unsalted butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Add 12 cups mini marshmallows; stir until melted, about 10 minutes.

Stir in 16 cups (a 13 1/2-ounce box) crisp rice cereal.

Work quickly while mixture is soft and sticky: Spoon into greased bowl; cover with plastic wrap so it doesn’t harden.  If mixture begins to harden, put in microwave for 10-20 seconds to soften, re-cover.

Butter or grease hands and mix  miniature M&M’s and colorful sprinkles into mixture while still warm, or any candy that you like.  You can add chocolate chips, white chips, or any type of fun candy. While mixing, the M&M’s will melt some as you mix, don’t worry, this will make it look like a chocolate Rice Krispie Cake!

Spoon the warm mixture into a greased or buttered 9-by-13-inch pan, or  bundt pan as I did above and use any leftover mixture for a small pan, or individual cups.

Pat mixture in pan until smooth. Let set, uncovered, 30 minutes to an hour, and then cut in squares or slice if in a cake shape.  Sprinkle with confectioner sugar
