2 c. sugar
12 lg. marshmallows
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. canned milk
1/2 c. butter
6 oz. pkg. cherry chips


Combine sugar, butter, salt, marshmallows and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring all the time to keep it from scorching, bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Add cherry chips and vanilla. Pour into 9 x 13 inch buttered pan. Let set while preparing topping.




6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 c. crushed peanuts


Melt chips in double boiler over hot water (or use microwave). Add peanut butter and nuts. Mix well and pour over top of cherry mixture. When cool, cut into squares.
