1 Cup butter

1 Cup sugar

2 Tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/2 Cups flour

3/4 Cup chopped nuts

3/4 Cup chopped red cherries

3/4 Cup coconut flakes 

Directions: 

Cream butter and sugar, then add milk and vanilla. Stir in flour, cherries and nuts. Form dough into rolls. Roll in coconut flakes to coat outside. Wrap in waxed paper and chill until cool. Cut into slices and put on ungreased cook sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
