My mom’s creation.. I don’t have a name for it nor does she! We just call it our veggie, beef and rice dinner.
Brown 2lb of ground beef and drain.
Then add 2 to 3 tablespoons of soy sauce let simmer.
Cook 2 cups of rice according to cooking instructions on whatever type of rice you use.
We use instant when in a rush,
Add a little butter to rice when it is done to keep from sticking together.
Steam a bag of California mixed veggies.
Severed layered, rice, meat and top with the veggies.
Makes 4 servings. Simple, easy and fast.
Yes I can get my kids to eat their veggies when it’s made like this! :”)
