Canned Spiced cranberry chutney

2 cups water
3cups sugar
2 large oranges diced peel and all
2-2″ fresh ginger peeled and diced or shredded
4 cups cranberries
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves

Bring water and sugar to boil,
Add orange and ginger, simmer for 20mins till orange peel is soft.
Add cranberries cook for 20 mins till it starts to form big bubbles. After about 10mins stir in the cinnamon and cloves then finish.

Ladle into hot clean jars, and granny bath for 15 mins.

Makes about 4pints
