SICILIAN MEATBALLS WITH PINE NUTS AND RAISINS

1 lb. beef chop meat, lean
2 eggs
3 tbsp. Romano cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. parsley, dry
1 c. bread crumbs
2 1/2 oz. water
1 oz. raisins
1 oz. pine nuts
2 oz. Marsala wine
3 tbsp. corn oil
Using large bowl, mix all ingredients together except wine and oil. Make sure they are mixed together very well. Place wine in a small bowl. Dip hand into wine, then take enough meat mixture to make 2 inch ball. Place balls on a dish or sheet of wax paper. Continue dipping hand and making balls until all meat is gone. Using 10 inch skillet, place in corn oil. Cook meatballs on low heat for 15-20 minutes, turning frequently. Serve with favorite sauce and pasta. Makes 4-6 servings.
