This is a  EASY PEASY creation I have made for those long busy work or errand days, when you want to come home to make an EASY QUICK taste like you slaved all day, Hot, Comfy food type meal..

So my friend Rosetta made some tetrazzini the other day and that got my wheels a turning in my head… I knew that was close to what I was shooting for but I had rigatoni noodles in my head  .. fat and yummy big enough for the creamy gravy and chicken to melt in your mouth..

SERENA’S CHICKEN TET-RONI

I started out with a big long package of BONELESS CHICKEN THIGHS sorry not sure how many were in there but it was like family pack ..

Then I put them in the crock pot, pepper, and add in  a large 26 oz can of Cream of Chicken soup.. fill up BOTTOM of can  (not even half way) with water and pour that into crock.. put on low and LEAVE.. go to work or shopping or whatever…. come back and you will have incredible smelling chicken with gravy.. (at this point you could just make mashed potatoes and be done .. but that is not what we are making..so.. next step)…

take fork and pull apart the chicken slightly .. just so it is easy for bite size mouth fulls

Boil some Rigatoni noodles till al dente. (they will be done but not MUSHY.. they will have a nice bite to them)

take off stove and DO NOT rinse with water.. just drain.. and while they are smoking hot you will add a good amount of parmesan cheese..toss noodles and add a small tab of butter, salt , pepper, and parsley flakes.. toss again..

and add your chicken and gravy mixture .. toss till all noodles are coated..

then put into serving bowl

and serve hot with green beans.. Enjoy!

Comfort food at it’s best… Serena Style!!!
