Pecan Delight

Cream 2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 lb butter

add 6 egg yolks one at a time, beating thoroughly

Add 1 tsp vanilla

1 cup chopped pecans

fold in 6 egg whites, stiffly beaten

1 lb. vanilla wafers.

Grease a large pan and line with the wafers.

Add a layer of first mixture, then a layer of whole wafers making 4 or 5 layers

Chill

Ice with whipped cream

yield 2 or 3 pints
