Jewell’s Crunchy Cookie Crust Cobbler

here is the best crunchy/sweet topping:

Mix 1 cup light brown sugar

, 1/2 cup sifted flour,

1/2 cup melted butter,

1/4 tsp. nutmeg,

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

& 1 1/4 cups oats..

 

I use this to make the cherry or apple crisp… empty a can of cherry (or apple) pie filling in baking dish & sprinkle the topping on top.. bake uncovered 25-30 mins. until golden brown… absolutely delicious!
