Honey Garlic Chicken Quarters

1 bag chicken quarters fully thawed, rinsed and marinated in zesty Italian dressing (or can use minced garlic, olive oil, splash red vinegar parsley, crushed red pepper) let marinate over night in covered large bowl in fridge.

next day heat oven to 400 degrees

use a large roasting pan with wire rack inserted and lay quarters on rack

Brush on a little more of the marinade and add a dash of black pepper,  parsley flakes, and a light sprinkle of old bay seasoning.

bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour, brushing the chicken with more marinade thirty minutes in to baking

take out and brush tips of skin with pure honey

put back in oven for 15 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 170 degrees

Chicken should be juicy flavorful and tender

Serve with scalloped potatoes salad and green beans

note :  for crispier skin, simply broil a bit longer but careful not to burn
