1 cup starter

2 1/2 cups sugar

1 large can peaches and juice (diced)

keep in refrigerator and stir for 10 days

On the 10th day add:

2 1/2 cups sugar

1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks or crushed

1 (20 oz) can fruit cocktail

Stir everyday for 10 days

At the end of 30 days you are ready to bake your cake

You will have enough starter for 4 friends and fruit for 4 or 5 cakes

each cake needs:

1 cup fruit (without juice)

1 box Duncan Hines French Vanilla Cake Mix (do not use super moist)

2/3 cup oil

4 eggs

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup golden raisins

1 small package instant vanilla pudding

combine all ingredients, mix well. Stir by hand, bake in a greased bunt pan for 1 hour at 325 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.
