Old Antique Recipe I found hand written .. could hardly read..this is what I got out of it..

CHOW CHOW

1 peck green tomatoes

8 large onions

10 green bell peppers

3 Tbsp S. Salt

6 Hot Peppers

1 qt vinegar

1 Tbsp Cinnamon

1 Tbsp Allspice

1/4 tsp cloves

3 Tbsp mustard

2 bay leaves

1/2 cup Horse Radish

1 3/4 cup sugar

Chop tomatoes onions peppers , bay leaf and cover with water and salt

Let stand over night. Drain, add hot peppers and  vinegar, spices, boil until tender. Put in jars seal. Process in 180 at about 15 min.
