I used to make chicken breasts in a tomato sauce, it was called chifli. I got the recipe from a friend many years ago (I think the name was prob made up)

– grill chicken breasts (I used a george foreman grill)
– fry 1 onion in butter in a pot
– add 1 bottle of tomato juice
– add 1 can of tomato paste
– 1 glass of whiskey
– mushrooms (fry in butter before adding)
– 5 little peppers (I used at the time pili pili peppers, you can use any hot peppers)
– add the cooked chicken breasts
– simmer for 1 hour
– remove the peppers, thicken the sauce with cornstarch
delicious with mashed potatoes or French fries
