RECIPE… PICKLED EGG WITH BEETS
2 CUPS CANNED BEETS
1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 CUP VINEGAR
1/2 CUP COLD WATER
1/2 TSP SALT SMALL PIECE STICK CINNAMON
4 WHOLE CLOVES
6 HARD COOKED PEELED EGGS
BOIL BEETS FOR 10 MINUTES, ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS EXCEPT EGGS, LET STAND IN LIQUID FOR 24 HOURS, ADD HARDCOOKED SHELLED EGGS TO LIQUID . LET STAND IN REFRIGATOR FOR AT LEAST 2 DAYS OR LONGER
