Bonnie’s Smothered Chicken Breasts

toss fresh mushroom slices on the bottom of your baking pan. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper and garlic powder and place on top of mushrooms. Place more sliced mushrooms on top of chicken, I used Crimini mushrooms, which are baby portobello mushrooms. Place slices of fresh mozzerella cheese on top of mushrooms.Pour a half cup of chicken broth around edges of pan. Bake at 350 for 50 min…my chicken breasts were huge! you may not have to cook it as long. Enjoy!
