RECIPE SUBMITTED BY Lynn McGinnis

The other day I was at a friend’s house when a neighbor brought in a loaf of bread. She said it was Beer Bread. It was yummy, and with a very crunchy crust. I had never heard of it, but it was so good I asked for the recipe. It was so simple, I’ll share.
BEER BREAD
3 Cups self-rising flour
1 Cup sugar
1 12 oz. can of room temp beer
Mix well & place in a loaf pan. Bake on 350 for @ 25 minutes, remove from oven and brush on butter, then replace in oven for @ another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
The Fam loves it. We even make french toast with it. When toasted, its crunchy – similar to an English muffin. Hope you all like it as much as we do.
