all you need is  carrot for beak, Olive for eyes, make your deviled eggs like normal ONLY you cut them  different.. instead of half ways you will cut off skinny top part of egg.. save it.. that will be your hat.. and you carefully remove the yolk from what will be the body of the chick.. you can make a small slice in bottom of egg so it will stand level..

Fill the body with deviled egg mixture (recipe posted on this site just egg yolk, mayo, salt, shredded sweet pickle and pickle juice)

then put on hat

eyes and beak
