Easy and so delicious.. tastes like a caramel Skor Bar

ANN’S ALMOND BRITTLE

Preheat oven to 400

lay down

5-40 saltines ( not generic brand) on top of wax/parchment paper

boil 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar for 3 minutes stirring constantly

Pour butter mixture on top of saltines and try to spread over all saltines without moving the saltines.

Bake 5 minutes at 400 degrees and remove from oven. Top with 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Let them melt, then spread  the chocolate with rubber spatula over top. Top with 1/1=1/2 sliced or slivered almonds

Let cool overnight or in fridge 2  hours

Break apart and store between wax paper.
