RECIPE SUBMITTED BY Alisha Sizemore-Morris

I keep the biscuits simple too

.. turn oven on 400… Add. Hudson cream self rising flour. Full fat butter milk ( you’re eating bicuits don’t get skimpy) a table spoon or so of salt… Mix (ha I never measure) my rule is it should stay on the spoon when turned over. So keep it thick but not dry. Drizzle oil in a pan and stick it in the oven to get warm.. don’t let it get HOT.. Dash some flour down on the counter, scrape the dough out and dust with flour. Fold in half, pat down a little, fold again, flip upside down & pat out till about 1 1/2 in thick.. cut and place in oiled pan, but make sure you flip to coat both sides. Let biscuits touch but don’t squish them . bake at 400 for about 20 mins. Make sure to brown tops under broiler if needed.. butter tops immediately!!!
